Why Work with a Travel Advisor When You Can Just Book Online?

I'm often asked:
Why would someone work with a travel advisor when there are so many apps, websites, and now even AI tools that can plan trips for you?
Here’s my answer: because booking a trip is not the same as designing one.
Yes, technology is amazing. You can book a flight at midnight or scroll through hotel options during your lunch break. You can even plug your preferences into a system that spits out a sample itinerary. But none of that knows you. Not the way I take the time to.
I run a very tech-forward company, using the best platforms, tools, and insider connections to make planning seamless. But the true magic of a great trip lies in the human layer, in the care, insight, and personalization that technology alone can’t provide.
A travel advisor brings something that algorithms can’t: context, connection, and thoughtfulness.
I consider the rhythm of your day, the energy you want to bring home, the memories you want to create, and the moments you didn’t even know to ask for. I also know what to skip, what to upgrade, when to go, and who to trust because I've been there or I know someone who has.
And let’s be honest. When something goes sideways mid-trip (and occasionally, it does), a chatbot won’t advocate for you. I will. From missed connections to last-minute changes, I’m in your corner.
So while online booking can get you a trip, working with me gets you your trip, uniquely designed, beautifully delivered, and completely stress-free.
Because in the end, the best tool for planning an unforgettable journey is a real person who gets you and has the tech to back it up.
